Coffee with Redneck Cinderella #5: You're Allowed to Start Over Real conversations. Real life. Real coffee. Every Monday morning. ☕❤️
Good mornin', bestie! ☕💕
Can I tell you something I wish somebody had told me years ago?
You don't have to wait until January 1st to start over.
You don't have to wait until Monday.
You don't have to wait until you've got the perfect planner, the perfect budget, the perfect workout clothes, or the perfect attitude.
Matter of fact... if we all waited until everything was perfect, we'd never start anything.
I think somewhere along the way we convinced ourselves that if we mess up, we've failed.
Diet? Ate one donut.
Guess I'll start next month.
Budget? Bought one unnecessary thing on Amazon.
Might as well go ahead and order six more because the week's already ruined.
Trying to spend more time with God? Missed one morning.
Well... maybe next week.
Why do we do that?
If you get a flat tire, do you slash the other three because the day's already messed up?
Of course not!
You fix the tire and keep driving.
So why don't we treat life the same way?
One bad meal doesn't erase weeks of good choices.
One bad day doesn't erase progress.
One mistake doesn't erase growth.
One failure doesn't erase your purpose.
Sometimes we get so hung up on perfection that we completely miss progress.
Can I let you in on a little secret?
The people you admire the most?
They've started over more times than you could probably count.
The difference isn't that they never failed.
The difference is they kept getting back up.
The Bible is full of people who had to start over.
Noah started over after the flood.
Moses started over in the wilderness.
Peter started over after denying Jesus.
And God still used every single one of them.
That ought to tell us something.
Maybe God isn't looking for perfect.
Maybe He's looking for willing.
So if today feels like a fresh start...
Take it.
If yesterday wasn't your best day...
That's okay.
If you've quit something fifteen times...
Start number sixteen.
Nobody's handing out trophies for "Most Consistent Human Since Birth."
We're all just figuring it out one step at a time.
☕ Coffee Question of the Week
What's something you've been putting off because you feel like you've already "messed it up"?
Let's encourage each other in the comments. You never know who needs to hear they're not the only one.
☕ One Last Sip...
You don't need a new year.
You don't need a new month.
You don't even need a new Monday.
Sometimes all you need is your next decision.
And if today's the day you decide to begin again...
I'm cheering for you.
See ya next Monday, bestie... the coffee's on me. ☕💕
