Coffee with Redneck Cinderella #7: It's Okay If Your Life Doesn't Look Like Their Highlight Reel Real conversations. Real life. Real coffee. Every Monday morning. ☕❤️

Good mornin', bestie! ☕💕

Can we have an honest conversation for a minute?

Social media is weird.

One minute you're watching somebody organize their pantry into matching glass jars with little handwritten labels...

The next minute you're sitting on your couch eating popcorn out of the pot you cooked it in because you don't feel like washing another bowl.

...or is that just me? 🤣

Don't judge. Fewer dishes equals more coffee time.

But seriously...

It's so easy to scroll through Facebook or Instagram and start thinking everybody else has life figured out.

Their house is spotless.

Their marriage is perfect.

Their kids smile in every picture.

They meal prep.

They work out.

They volunteer.

They bake homemade sourdough bread while simultaneously raising backyard chickens that somehow never escape the fence.

Meanwhile...

You're over here trying to remember if you switched the laundry from the washer to the dryer three days ago.

Here's the thing nobody talks about.

You're comparing your ordinary Tuesday to somebody else's best five seconds.

Nobody posts the argument before the family photo.

Nobody posts the panic attack before the smiling selfie.

Nobody posts the pile of laundry they shoved into a bedroom before company came over.

We all have messy moments.

Some people just have better camera angles.

And that's okay.

One of the biggest traps we can fall into is believing that if our life doesn't look like someone else's, we're somehow behind.

But God never asked you to live their life.

He gave you yours.

Your story.

Your family.

Your gifts.

Your purpose.

If we're constantly trying to keep up with everybody else's highlight reel, we'll miss all the beautiful moments happening right in front of us.

The laughter around your kitchen table.

The muddy footprints from the kids.

The dog snoring at your feet.

That first sip of coffee before the house wakes up.

Those little moments may never go viral...

But they're the ones you'll miss someday.

So today, before you compare your life to someone else's picture-perfect square on social media...

Look around.

There's probably more to be thankful for than you realize.

Coffee Question of the Week

What's one ordinary thing in your life that actually brings you a lot of joy?

Mine?

That first cup of coffee before anybody starts needing me. 😂

I'd love to hear yours.

One Last Sip...

You weren't created to live someone else's story.

You were created to faithfully live yours.

So enjoy the life you're building, laugh at the messes along the way, and don't let somebody else's filtered moments steal the joy from your real ones.

Because real life...

Wrinkled laundry, barking dogs, coffee stains and all...

Is still a beautiful life.

See ya next Monday, bestie... the coffee's on me. ☕💕
